Police hunt for missing English tourist teen

Police are trying to track down a 19-year-old English tourist who's been missing for nearly two weeks.According to police, Leona Dawn Perryman, who's from Dorset, England, arrived in the United States for vacation on Oct. 13. She has visited West Hollywood, Venice and Santa Monica.

Police say Perryman was last seen in Santa Monica before midnight on Dec. 18. They say she was traveling with 45-year-old Paul Alfred Atkinson and that the two had planned to return home on Jan. 7.

Police have interviewed Atkinson, but say they do not know his current whereabouts and that they want to speak with him again. They believe he may be living on the streets.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Santa Monica Police Department's 24-hour tip line at (310) 458-8449. Tipsters can also call WeTip at 1-800-78-CRIME (1-800-78-27463) or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (1-800-222-8477). Callers may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.00.
