One person killed in Anaheim apartment fire

One person was killed Saturday when a fire burned in four units of a retirement living complex in Anaheim, a city fire official said.The fire was reported at 7:10 p.m. at the Miracle Terrace complex at 225 S. Western Ave., said Tim Butler of the Anaheim Fire Department.

"One civilian death was reported," Butler said, adding that four units in one building were damaged by the fire.

With 90 firefighters on the scene, the fire was under control in about 70 minutes, Butler said, but occupants of about 39 units were expected to be displaced.

No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
