The parents of 16-year-old Abby Sunderland anxiously wait to get word of their daughter's sailing adventure Wednesday. The teen is on a solo voyage around the world. On Wednesday she was about to round Cape Horn at the tip of South America. The waters there are very treacherous with big waves and strong currents.

Her family says today may be the toughest part of her journey.

The Thousand Oaks teen set sail from Marina Del Rey two months ago, in an effort to become the youngest person to sail around the world alone, non-stop.
