DOWNEY, Calif. --
A man was hospitalized with critical injuries after he was struck by a big rig in Downey.The accident happened at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the 9500 block of Firestone Boulevard, near Gray Road. The driver of the McDonalds' big rig stopped after the accident and was questioned by police. No arrests were made.
It was unclear if the pedestrian was inside a crosswalk.
