A new study shows that men who don't ask for directions are paying a price for their stubborn habit.A study by a British insurance company found that men waste more than $3,000 worth of gas each year because they won't stop and ask for help when they're lost.

The research stated that's because men drive more than 275 extra miles a year while they search for their destinations.

Researchers estimate that lost drivers also waste about $3,000 worth of their time over the course of their lives.
