San Bernardino man charged w/ kidnapping ex

REDLANDS, Calif. Redlands Police say Gilberto Baeza, Jr., 36, was arguing with his 27-year-old ex-girlfriend Monday evening when he forced her into his car and drove away.

Relatives of the woman called police.

The woman called family members later and police traced Baeza to a home in the 25000 block of Date Street in San Bernardino.

Officers set up surveillance at the location and about 4.am. Tuesday, Baeza and the victim arrived.

Baeza was taken into custody, charged with kidnapping and taken to West Valley Detention Center.
