November 22, 2010 12:00:00 AM PST
A new nationwide poll shows Sarah Palin is the leading Republican choice for a White House run.The Quinnipiac University poll shows that while Sarah Palin tops the list of Republican choices, Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee are close contenders.

Former First Lady Barbara Bush doesn't seem keen on Palin's possible candidacy.

In an interview on CNN's "Larry King Live," Barbara Bush talked about meeting her.

"I sat next to her once, I thought she was beautiful, and I think she's very happy in Alaska and I hope she'll stay there," said Barbara Bush.

Palin hasn't announced her 2012 plans. She's about to start a publicity tour for her new book that's coming out this week.
