The one-month old Sumatran orangutan made her debut Wednesday, clinging to her mother.
The baby, named "Dewi," spent most of her time sleeping.
Zookeepers said the birth was especially exciting because Sumatran orangutans are critically endangered with up to 80 percent of their habitat being destroyed.
