Fiery DC parcel addressed to Sec. Napolitano

Police said a package ignited at a Washington, D.C., postal facility on Friday, a day after two fiery packages were found in Maryland.The building was evacuated and no injuries were reported.

An official said that the parcel was addressed to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.

An FBI spokeswoman said initial information shows the package is similar to the two that caused smoke and odors at Maryland state government buildings on Thursday.

One of the Maryland packages was addressed to the governor and the other one was addressed to the state transportation department.

The incidents remained under investigation.
