Pa. lawmakers get into heated shouting match

January 27, 2011 12:00:00 AM PST
Lawmakers got into a shouting match during a meeting with the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

They were about to vote on several bills that would change the way state government operates when things got out of control.

There was yelling, obscenities were hurled at one another and someone even threw a stack of papers before Democrats stormed out of the room.

They claimed they were being cut off from having a voice after Republicans tried to force through changes to the bills.
