Hundreds of LMU students and staff helped serve meals and hand out clothing at the Midnight Mission in Downtown L.A. It was the spotlight event of a weeklong celebration of service at LMU.
Incoming President David Burcham requested that community service be part of his inaugural celebration. Other projects included painting buildings in central L.A., assisting in after-school programs and helping create habitats for animals.
Burcham will be installed as LMU's 15th president on March 8.
