The terrifying ride took place in Manteca, Calif., just outside Stockton.
The woman, who does not want to be identified, says she was trying to stop her husband from driving because he had just come off a serious drug episode.
"I was holding on literally by the tips of my fingers and basically by my ankles," she said. "He looked crazy."
Her husband has been booked for attempted murder. The woman had minor injuries, but should be all right.
She says she wanted to share her story to let people know about the dangers of using methamphetamines.
