A judge has dropped two of the eight charges against State Senator Roderick Wright who was indicted last year for allegedly living outside his district.

A judge Thursday dismissed two counts of fraudulent voting. However, six charges still remain. Wright's lawyer insists he complied with the law.

Prosecutors said he listed an Inglewood apartment complex as his address when he announced his candidacy in 2008, but has actually lived in a Baldwin Hills home outside the 25th district for the last 11 years.
