Ground beef recalled for possible E. coli contamination

March 9, 2011 12:00:00 AM PST
Creekstone Farms Premium Beef in Kansas is recalling more than 14,000 pounds of ground beef because the meat may be contaminated with E. coli.

California is one of several states affected by the recall.

The affected meat was shipped out for further processing and distribution and may've been repackaged and sold under different retail brands.

Just look for the establishment number "EST. 27" inside the USDA inspection mark label.

The recalled ground beef was produced on Feb. 22.
