Dogs are the focus at Riverside's 'Walk with the Animals' event

RIVERSIDE, Calif.

ABC7's Inland Empire bureau chief Rob McMillan served as grand marshal.

The fundraiser at Fairmount Park featured a 1.5 mile pledge walk, raffles, exhibits and dog agility demonstrations.

Organizers hoped to raise several thousand dollars for the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center.

The group is the largest no-kill pet adoption agency in Riverside County.
