Pfizer recalls 2 drugs due to labeling mishap

March 27, 2011 12:00:00 AM PDT
Drug maker Pfizer is voluntarily recalling two drugs in the U.S. because of potential mislabeling.

The company said some bottles of Citalopram, a depression drug, may have been labeled inaccurately as Finasteride, a drug used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Also, some bottles of Finasteride may be labeled incorrectly as Citalopram.

Customers are being advised to return any suspicious bottles to their pharmacist.

Pfizer says there have been no reported injuries or illnesses tied to the recall.
