Casey Anthony judge ends hearing without ruling

ORLANDO, Fla.

Her attorneys want Judge Belvin Perry to throw out another judge's order requiring her to return to Orlando to serve out her probation.

Anthony was not required to be at the hearing.

Perry described the case as a "mess" before saying he needs more time to research before making a decision.

Anthony was sentenced in January 2010 to probation after pleading guilty to using checks stolen from a friend. That judge said he intended the probation to be served after Anthony was released from jail.

She has disappeared from the public eye since being acquitted last month in the death of her 2-year-old daughter.
