Vigil for man killed in Anaheim police shooting ends in drive-by

ANAHEIM, Calif.

Shots rang out as mourners gathered in the 100 block of Guinida Lane at about 10 p.m. to remember 23-year-old David Raya, the man killed by Anaheim police last week.

A 37-year-old Fullerton man was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.

An 18-year-old Anaheim man was hospitalized for a gunshot wound to a leg, but was expected to survive, while a 26-year-old Anaheim man suffered a graze wound to one of his fingers, and was examined at the scene.

Police say they have no information on suspects, but they are investigating whether the shooting was gang related.

The officer-involved shooting that left Raya dead is being investigated by the Orange County District Attorney's Office and by Anaheim police.
