SoCal wild weather brings lightning, rainbows

PASADENA, Calif.

Eyewitness News viewers sent in pictures that showed several huge bolts racing across the sky. The lightning is courtesy of monsoon thunderstorms.

The storms also dropped some rain across the region. Following the storms, some people even saw a rainbow.

There was a 30-percent chance of scattered rain across Southern California on Monday, and temps are expected to reach the 80s in the Los Angeles-Metro area and 90s in the Inland Empire and Valleys.

There's some humidity, but the wind will make it feel a little cooler.
