Bomb squad probes Reseda home after standoff

RESEDA, LOS ANGELES

There were no explosives found, officials said.

The barricade situation involved a man who was wanted for assault. It started around 8 p.m. Wednesday on the 6900 block of Wystone Avenue and lasted for about five hours.

The man surrendered after officers fired tear gas into the home.

The immediate area was evacuated, but no injuries were reported.

The incident remains under investigation.
