Investigators said the burglary happened on Oct. 18 between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. at a home on the 20th block of Ambrosia Street.
The suspects stole credit cards, a 2009 Toyota Sienna and a gray 2002 BMW X5. Later in the day, two of the suspects went to a Target store and bought items with the stole credit card.
Surveillance video captured the two arriving at the store in a gray SUV, which authorities said may have been the stolen BMW.
The next day, a third suspect tried to use a stolen credit card at a Wal-Mart store, but it was denied.
The Toyota was recovered later when it was sold to someone on Craigslist. Authorities are still searching for the BMW X5 with Washington license plate A75995M.
Anyone with information was asked to contact Buena Park police at (714) 562-3970.
