In a statement, St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch announced it is pulling out of the parade, saying the company has decided to invest in other types of events that better target beer drinkers.
The brewing company did not indicate when or if it plans to return to the parade in the future.
The Rose Parade is scheduled for Jan. 2.
