The body of 23-year-old Cpl. Christopher G. Singer arrived Tuesday morning at the Los Alamitos Army Airfield. It was then escorted to a Laguna Hills mortuary.
Singer's funeral was set for Friday at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest.
He was killed Jan. 21 while conducting combat operations in Helmand province.
