Authorities say the silver two-door Honda Accord was stolen from the 18000 block of Elaine Avenue at 6:12 a.m. The suspect dropped the child off a block away from where he stole the vehicle.
Someone saw the child standing on the corner crying and called 911. The child is safe with his parents now.
The vehicle's license plate number is 6MXW025. Anyone with information is urged to call the Lakewood Sheriff's Station at (562) 623-3500.
