May 2, 2012 12:00:00 AM PDT
Police are warning residents in a Van Nuys neighborhood of burglars using doggie doors to break into homes.

There has been a recent rash of burglaries along the 15200 block of Sutton Street and the 4000 block of Weslin Avenue.

They've all taken place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Police say all the homes that were burglarized had either unlocked or unsecured doggie doors. So far, no potential suspects or strange vehicles have been identified.
