The evidence turned over to Zimmerman's lawyer included crime scene photos, Martin's autopsy and what Zimmerman and witnesses told police. The evidence will not yet be released to the public.
Zimmerman is charged with second-degree murder for the shooting death of /*Trayvon Martin*/ in February. Zimmerman claims he shot Martin in self-defense. He is currently free on bail.
