The incident happened on the 600 block of Eighth Street in Hermosa Beach. Deputies said a 43-year-old woman was found with a gunshot wound.
The woman, whose identity has not been released, was declared dead at a hospital. Investigators talked to her husband, but they didn't release any more details.
