Organic produce worth the extra cost?

Is it worth the extra cost to buy organic produce? Maybe not, according to researchers at Stanford University.

They found no difference in the nutritional value of organic, and non-organic fruits and vegetables.

They did find that organic foods are 30 percent less likely to contain pesticide residue.

But all produce, including non-organic, had pesticide levels well within the limits that are considered safe.

The report was based on more than 200 previous studies.
