Three men, three women, and three dogs were removed from a 104-year-old building in the 500 block of West Avenue 28 around 7:15 p.m. Sunday.
The building which was deemed "unstable" was undergoing renovations when the second floor gave way.
No one was hurt, but the building has been red-tagged.
The American Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents.
