The incident occurred in the 400 block of East Harvard Boulevard around 7 a.m.
According to police, the victim was bent over washing his car was when he was approached by a man holding a black semi-automatic handgun.
The suspect demanded the keys to the vehicle and told the victim to walk away. The victim complied and saw the suspects drive away with his car.
No further suspect description was released.
The victim's vehicle was described as a green 1997 Nissan Quest license No. 4LGY919 with hood damage.
Anyone with information related to the incident was asked to dial 911.
