Ladana Smith, 20, was last seen Jan. 27 at approximately 11 a.m. in the 1900 block of West 22nd Street. At around 10 p.m. that day, Smith called her family from the Blue Line train station at 103rd Street, saying she was on the way home from visiting other family members.
Smith and her daughter never came home.
Police say the mother and daughter returned on Thursday morning. It was unclear where they had been. No further information was released.
