Baldwin Hills motorist killed after crash splits vehicle in 2

BALDWIN HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A female motorist in Baldwin Hills was killed after a violent crash split her vehicle in two.

Authorities said she crashed her car into a tree shortly before 9 p.m. Monday on Hauser Boulevard near West Jefferson Boulevard.

The woman died on the scene.

It remains unclear what caused her to drive into the tree.
