ROWLAND HEIGHTS, Calif. (KABC) -- A brush fire was burning in the Rowland Heights area late Tuesday night and possibly threatening homes, officials said.
The fire was burning near Fullerton Road Pathfinder community park. About two acres had burned and water-dropping aircraft were called in - unusual for a nighttime fire - because of the possible danger to nearby homes.
No evacuations had been ordered as of Tuesday night.
The fire was burning uphill in medium-to-heavy brush, firefighters said.
