Fire erupts at 2 structures in Commerce

COMMERCE, Calif. (KABC) -- A second-alarm fire broke out in Commerce Sunday, and two commercial buildings were well-involved, according to Los Angeles County Fire officials.

The fire was reported at two businesses in the 4200 block of Washington Boulevard at about 10:30 a.m., LAFD officials said.

Firefighters were battling flames and smoke seen shooting through the roof, according to officials.

It was not clear whether there were occupants inside the buildings at the time the fire erupted.
