Driver ejected, killed after slamming into parked cars in San Pedro

SAN PEDRO, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A driver was ejected and killed after slamming into several parked cars in San Pedro.

Los Angeles police said the driver was speeding at about 11:50 p.m. Sunday near 2nd and Meyler streets when he crashed into a parked car.

The SUV flipped and hit seven other parked cars. The driver was ejected and died at the scene, police said.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
