NORTH HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A stolen bronze statue of Ed Sullivan has been recovered in good condition, but there's no word on who took the $40,000 figure.
The statue was stolen off its pedestal at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in North Hollywood over the weekend. It was on display as part of the Hall of Fame Plaza, which is an outdoor exhibit that showcases statues and busts of various TV legends.
LAPD officials did not release where the statue was found, stating only that the investigation was ongoing.
