Man's body found floating in ocean off El Segundo beach

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (KABC) -- The body of a man was discovered floating in the ocean off a beach in El Segundo Sunday afternoon, police said.

A passerby flagged down Los Angeles County lifeguards after spotting the body around 4 p.m.

Authorities say the man was in his 50s and wearing swim trunks. His identity was not immediately released.

Lifeguards said they have not received any missing persons report in the area.

Coroner's officials are working to determine the man's exact cause of death.
