LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Quentin Tarantino, Tracy Morgan, Adam Levine, Cyndi Lauper and Bradley Cooper are just a few of the famous faces slated to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced its selections for its "Class of 2016" on Monday, with 29 new names to be added to the famed boulevard.
Recipients of stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame are chosen by a committee based on applications submitted by fans or celebrity representatives. Entertainers are recognized in five categories: motion picture, television, radio, recording and live theater. Each recipient is responsible for their star's $30,000 price tag.

In the category of motion pictures: Steve Carell, Bradley Cooper, Ashley Judd, Michael Keaton, Kurt Russell, Quentin Tarantino, and Toshiro Mifune (posthumous)
In the category of television: Barbara Bain, Kathy Bates, Roma Downey, David Duchovny, Allison Janney, Rob Lowe, Debra Messing, Tracy Morgan, Gary Sinise, and William S. Paley (posthumous)
In the category of recording: Shirley Caesar, LL Cool J, Cyndi Lauper, Adam Levine, Bruno Mars, Joseph B. "Joe" Smith, Itzhak Perlman, and "Mama" Cass Elliot (posthumous)
In the category of radio: Longtime Los Angeles Clippers broadcaster Ralph Lawler
In the category of live theater/live performance: Angelica Maria, Harvey Fierstein, and Kevin Hart
Individual ceremonies have not yet been scheduled. Recipients have two years from the date of selection to schedule their star ceremony.
