LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- "Eye on L.A." host Tina Malave hopped a 90-minute flight at LAX to experience the greatest snow on earth in one of the coolest cities in Utah!

MAIN STREET, PARK CITY

Park City may be best known for Sundance, one of the largest independent film festivals in the U.S. But this charming town also has a fabulous Main Street lined with restaurants, great shopping and art galleries like McMillen Gallery. Don't forget to ski right up to High West Distillery and Saloon -- Utah's first legal distillery -- and take a free tour!

ZOOM

Every January, Park City goes "Hollywood" for the annual Sundance Film Fest. At the center of the action is Robert Redford's upscale eatery, Zoom.

CANYONS

Next stop on our winter getaway is Canyons Resort where we met up with Paralympic athlete Chris Waddell before we hit the slopes ourselves.

Chris Waddell

Chris Waddell is a multi-gold and silver medalist Paralympian. He has climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro and gives inspirational talks to other disabled athletes. To find out how to bring Chris to speak at your school or function visit his website, http://one-revolution.org.

Canyons Resort

Park City's Canyons Resort draws plenty of skiers and snowboarders of a more "extreme" persuasion, but being Utah's largest ski area with 4000 acres, the resort's vast terrain has something for just about everyone. Canyons is also home to the Orange Bubble Lift, Utah's only heated lift which keeps you warm and cozy as it takes you up the mountain. Non-skiers can also get a rush on their 800 foot and 2000 foot zip lines!

PARK CITY MOUNTAIN

In 2002, Park City hosted the Winter Olympic Games, and now you can visit Olympic Park and ride the bobsled run. For more outdoor fun, head over to Park City Mountain Resort to ride the Flying Eagle zip line or the Alpine Coaster.

Utah Olympic Park

Built for the 2002 Olympics, Utah Olympic Park is open to the public to checkout Olympic hopefuls while they train. You can even ride the Olympic bobsled. Careful, it's a doozy!

Park City Mountain Resort

With a lift that takes you on a breathtaking ride from the heart of Main Street to the top of the mountain, it's easy to ski all morning, ski down to Main Street for lunch, then catch the lift back up for a little more powder playtime! Featuring an Olympic-size, 22-foot half pipe and 30-60 foot jumps, Park City Mountain Resort is a favorite training spot for top athletes.
