Driver smashes car into Dollar Tree store in Fillmore

FILLMORE, Calif. (KABC) -- A car slammed into a dollar store in Fillmore Saturday. No one inside the store was injured, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.

Officials said a 57-year-old man drove his vehicle through the front plate glass window and into the Dollar Tree store on the 700 block of Ventura Street around 12:34 p.m.

The driver did not sustain any injuries. Investigators said drugs and alcohol were not a contributing factor.
