The Halal Guys restaurant to open in Long Beach

LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- The Halal Guys restaurant debut in Long Beach is drawing near, and it is expected to bring in huge crowds.

The chicken and rice restaurant from midtown Manhattan is set to open its doors Jan. 2.

The Costa Mesa location opened in the fall and has seen lines out the door for months.

The new Los Angeles County spot said it expects the same attention.
