LA HABRA, Calif. (KABC) -- One person died and another was hospitalized by injuries from a residential fire on South Harbor Boulevard in La Habra Monday morning.
L.A. County firefighters responded to a residential fire in La Habra at 9:02 a.m. Monday on the 1400 block of S. Harbor Blvd. Smoke and fire was showing from the rear of a two-story apartment building.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze by 9:19 a.m.
One person was treated for smoke inhalation and was hospitalized in unknown condition.
A second person was confirmed dead at the scene, according to the department.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
