Cool Kid Lucy Meyer selected as global messenger for Special Olympics

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Our ABC7 Cool Kid for Thursday, July 30, is Lucy Meyer, who is a Special Olympian on Team USA.

Lucy, 16, is a freshman at Hamilton High School and has been swimming since she was 8 years old. She said she feels a special connection to the sport.

She was also selected to be a global messenger, which she is excited to do on behalf of the Special Olympics.
