MISSION VIEJO, Calif. (KABC) -- Authorities are looking for a man suspected of robbing an elderly woman's home in Mission Viejo.
The robbery happened in the 23300 block of Via Linda around 11:30 a.m. Friday. Orange County sheriff's officials said the suspect forced open the front door and confronted the 82-year-old woman as she watched TV in bed.
The suspect looked at the woman, told her not to move, and ransacked her bedroom and other rooms in the house, sheriff's officials said. He made off with jewelry, though the quantity and value were not immediately known.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male between 25 and 30 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall with brown hair. He was seen wearing a white T-shirt and black pants.
No weapon or vehicle were seen.
