ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST (KABC) -- Two teenage hikers who went missing in the Angeles National Forest overnight were found safe Tuesday morning.
A sheriff's official said the father of one of the boys hiked into Devils Canyon to look for the teens and found them early Tuesday.
The three waited for a sheriff's rescue team, who located them around 5:30 a.m. The boys were not hurt.
They were expected to be air-lifted from the trail.
The boys, Juan Carlos and Max Clark, both 17, were reported missing Monday night. They planned to hike to a waterfall in the San Gabriel Wilderness area but didn't make it out before nightfall.
Temperatures in the area dipped into the 50s overnight.
One teen's car was found parked at the Devils Canyon trailhead, about 25 miles from La Canada-Flintridge.
