210 West reopens following fatal crash in Sylmar

SYLMAR, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- All lanes on the westbound 210 Freeway transition to the northbound 5 Freeway were closed following a fatal crash involving a big rig and multiple vehicles in Sylmar.

The crash happened shortly after 4 p.m. on Monday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The lanes were reopened at about 9:30 p.m.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
