RIDGECREST, Calif. (KABC) -- An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.5 struck Kern County Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake struck about 8 miles north northeast of Ridgecrest at about 11:34 a.m. and had a depth of about 3.2 miles. The epicenter was about 65 miles north northwest of Barstow.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
