3rd suspect in fatal Downey home-invasion robbery taken into custody

DOWNEY, Calif. (KABC) -- The third suspect wanted in a deadly Downey home-invasion robbery has been taken into custody on Tuesday, Downey police said.

Officials said a 17-year-old boy from Anaheim was taken into custody in connection with the homicide that happened at a home in the 10300 block of Lesterford Avenue on Sunday.

Two other suspects, 28-year-old Henry Willie Sao of Long Beach and 19-year-old Paul Darvis Misikei of Anaheim were already taken into custody.

Police said the home invasion was not a random act and that the home was specifically targeted by the suspects.

Neighbors identified the victim as Jim Rudometkin, a 59-year-old real estate agent. Neighbors said he was a well-known real estate agent who had no enemies and was kind, generous and highly involved in his church.
