Death of Carson child under investigation

CARSON, Calif. (KABC) -- Los Angeles County sheriff's homicide detectives are investigating the death of a child in Carson.

Authorities responded to a residence in the 2500 block of E. Jackson Street East around 11:55 p.m. Wednesday.

The child, whose gender and age was not released, was rushed to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
