FULLERTON, Calif. (KABC) -- A female pedestrian was struck and killed in Fullerton Tuesday night, and police say she may have been hit by more than one vehicle.
The accident happened near the intersection of South Harbor Boulevard and Beckman Drive, near the La Habra border, at about 9:50 p.m. The woman, whose name has not been released, was declared dead at the scene.
Authorities say a vehicle was traveling northbound on Harbor Boulevard when it struck the pedestrian. The driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with police.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation. Drugs and alcohol were not believed to be a factor.
"The victim may have been crossing the street outside of a crosswalk," Sgt. Jeff Stuart of the Fullerton Police Department.
